What is Maca?
Maca root is a vitamin rich root vegetable, its looks and size about radish. It have different kind of colors in colors ranging from white, cream, yellow, red, light gray, violet to black ending. it is grow in South American mountain in altitude of about 3500 m especially in Peru. Maca root is used for centuries by Peruvian Indians. It contains large amount of calcium, iron, potassium, and copper including riboflavin, vitamin B, vitamin C, and niacin. It is very best source of protein, carbohydrates, and dietary fiber. Maca have very low cholesterol, saturated fats, and sodium. Maca is used as food and also as medicine. After drying Maca root they make Maca power in different quality ratio such as 4:1, 6:1(4:1 = 4 kg raw maca= 1 kg powder/ 6 kg raw maca =1 kg dried maca).
Maca can find in market as supplement capsules, powder, maca extract syrup. This is making easier to mix with food such as cake, coffee or drink.
Maca uses for
According to the Peruvian Indians, the root of poppies exhibits properties against osteoporosis, helping to maintain healthy bones, as well as relieving bothersome symptoms of menopause and menstruation. However, Maca is the most famous for the fact that it improves sexual performance of men and women, and increases fertility.
Maca root is considered by the people of Peru for a proven way to alleviate troublesome symptoms that occur during menstruation and menopause.

It is also used as a means of energizing, revitalizing and strengthening immunity. Nowadays, maca is recommended in remedy of exhaustion, weakness, malnutrition and low immunity. Is also recommended for people who require intensive mental effort, it improves memory and mental functions.

How to use (dosage)
The most effective way to receive Mac powder is mixed with the water or fruit juice and ingested on an empty stomach 10-15 minutes before eating breakfast.
The weight of the product is different, it depends on the needs of our body and what we use it, and our reaction. At first start by small amount of Maca and then increase it slowly if it’s necessary, when the body to adapt. This will not cause too much shock from the endocrine system. My opinion and experience about Maca
Being frankly that I am fan of organic natural food and herbs. If is see something new in market I can’t stop myself to trying it. When I heard about Maca I collect lot of information from this and finally I bought in local register organic shop. It look that it’s made powder from white and cream Maca. I am generally started drinking from few weeks. Test is not so bad, it taste as radish. Generally I prefer to drink with milk or yogurt. I believe definitely after 3 month result will come excellent because it’s best source of combine vitamins and minerals.
Better to try and be healthy.
